Bringing the PA Turnpike’s Story to Life with a Custom Trade Show Exhibit
The PA Turnpike’s 50′ x 50′ exhibit at IBC 2025 was designed to showcase the impressive Beaver River Bridge Replacement Project, a $269 million initiative that is transforming a critical piece of Pennsylvania’s transportation infrastructure. The display features a custom tunnel and gantry, a printed road, and portable backwalls, elements that reflect the scale and innovation of the project.
Our skilled installation team, including Tyler, John, Cameron, and Jay, expertly managed the assembly and dismantle of the exhibit, ensuring a seamless presence for the PA Turnpike throughout the conference. Behind the scenes, our woodshop and graphics departments brought the vision to life, building the custom exhibit components in house with precision and attention to detail.
Highlighting a Landmark Infrastructure Project on an International Stage
The Beaver River Bridge Replacement Project, located near the Beaver Valley Interchange (exit 13), has garnered international attention for its advanced engineering approach. Featuring dual cast-in-place segmental bridges, the project exemplifies modern bridge construction techniques with reduced environmental impact and improved safety.
As part of the PA Turnpike’s Total Reconstruction initiative, the project not only replaces the aging 1953 steel deck truss bridge but also enhances roadway safety with wider shoulders, medians, and three travel lanes in each direction. The innovative design and construction process were a key focus at the conference, where attendees toured the construction site and learned about the project’s technical achievements.
